Welcome to my page! My name is Can Danisman. I am a 24 year old recent RIBA Part 2 MArch graduate from Central Saint Martins, currently living in Istanbul. Born in Turkey, raised in Belgium, and formed in the UK, I am fluent in French, Turkish and English.
Throughout my studies, history, geography, math and arts have always been my favourite subjects which led me to pursue a career in architecture. Traveling the world from a young age has enabled me to sketch and capture new cultural discoveries which highly inspired my design approach. I have since built a particular interest in Scandinavian and Japanese minimalist design philosophies, the volumetric composition of brutalist buildings and landscape architecture. I am interested in regenerating the left-over opportunities within the urban fabric and stitching back a vibrant socio-cultural atmosphere using a place-making agenda. As a designer, I like to create a symbiotic relationship between various stakeholders involved in a project.
In my spare time as a DJ, I like to experiment with the boundaries of architecture through music as a mean to encourage social interaction and have a growing interest in immersive spatial design.
